Supergrip are rapidly becoming a world leading provider in the field of subsea J-Tube Seal Assemblies.

Since start of 2019 they have successfully completed 22-off systems for a number of global clients. All forms of Seal Assemblies have been successfully provided from ROV activated systems, Passive designs and Diver Activated systems.

Gordon Conlon, Director at Supergrip said, “Our team, here at Supergrip, have been responsible for the design of J-Tube Seals as far back as 1993 therefore we have huge experience on this product. With the benefit of this experience, we have worked extremely hard to advance the designs with many significant improvements made particularly on the Passive and ROV Activated versions. Over the last few years, Passive J-Tube Seals have tended to be the preference choice with clients and our design offers a number of improvements that enhances the installation process. However, we have also recently completed the successful supply of 2-off ROV Activated Systems for higher pressure applications. We believe that these are the only two systems supplied in the industry in the last 2 to 3 years. As our business develops and the company name becomes more known in the marketplace, the design and manufacturing advantages and high quality service that we provide is becoming recognised. We are now working with most of the cable manufacturers and installation contractors on these products.”

Darren Blackburn, Director at Supergrip said “It has been a very busy start to the year for us at Supergrip and our subsea J-Tube Simulator has continuously been in full operation. As well as manufacturing all the seal assemblies we naturally produce representative J-Tubes and bellmouths for the qualification process that each product is subjected to. Our engineers are also at hand to provide offshore installation assistance if required. It has been an exciting period and we have had the opportunity to meet many interesting clients and operators during the multitude of Factory Acceptance Tests that we have completed.”
