Supergrip has recently completed the supply of our unique design of passive J-Tube Seal for a major cable manufacturer.

The diverless design was supplied to install during the pull-in operation of a 155mm diameter cable into a 16” NS bellmouth.

The Supergrip design reduces the pull-in force required to install the system whilst enhancing the sealing capability.

Following a successful installation, our client representative provided the following feedback from offshore, “Just wanted to mention that the J-tube seal from Supergrip fitted like a glove in the J-tube. Thanks for Supergrip’s contribution to making the installation a success story”

Sheldon Jeffrey, operations manager at Supergrip said, “In 2019 J-Tube Seals were our largest seller in terms of quantity making us one, if not the global leader for these products. As with all of our systems, we supplied a complete documentation package throughout the project execution phase including a detailed design report, ITP, test procedures, and manufacturers record book. The system was subjected to an extensive Factory Acceptance Test witnessed by a client representative and we were delighted to receive the client feedback following a successful offshore installation. This particular client is a global manufacturer and we are currently in discussions regarding future opportunities.”
