Supergrip have provided further investment into their manufacturing facility with the addition of another polyurethane processing cell being incorporated into their facility in Colne to compliment the existing capability.
The new production cell includes automatic dispensing machinery, ovens, material storage and preparation chambers
Darren Blackburn, director at Supergrip said “Following on from an excellent 2017 we decided to make a significant invest further into our production capability. We are gaining a reputation for delivering quality bespoke products. Last year seen the Fast-Lok boltless bend restrictor go from strength to strength but we also delivered a wide range of subsea polyurethane related products including cable protection systems, sealing systems and ROV installed centralisers. We also have two other designs currently within our R&D department, one tailoired towards cable protection and one towards flexibles. As a company we are always conscious on offering the best possible service to our clients. Therefore to maintain our schedule offering during this period of company growth it was imperative to increase our manufacturing ouput. The new production cell including newly trained personnel addressed this potential bottleneck and ensures that we can respond on fast track schedules whilst maintaining the quality we are becoming renowned for.”
