Supergrip have successfully designed and manufactured a range of flexible riser centralisers into the Malaysian market through Supergrip Asia.

The products were designed to offer protection to two sizes of flexible risers (mm and mm) within the bore of I-Tubes (mm and mm respectively).

The design were subjected to a formal design review and testing process at Supergrips facility in the Uk. The testing process included axial, bending moment and shear verification’s with all products successfully passing all tests. All testing activities were witnessed by our client – a major O&G marine contractor.

Lennart Pang, executive director at Supergrip Asia said “The award of this project is a result of many months of work with our local partners and end clients and is a significant step in Supergrip developing our brand within South East Asia. The delivery schedule was extremely tight with many players unable to meet the demands required by our client. However Supergrip exceeded expectations and delivered all equipment 2 weeks ahead of schedule. We are currently increasing our business development activities within the region and exciting plans are afoot for further growth of the Supergrip Asia business”.
