Supergrip (UK) Ltd have successfully completed the supply of J-ub centraliser and bend restrictor assembly for the project.

The equipment was a bespoke design sized to suit a “ NS J-Tube and capable of withstanding bending moments of kNm. All equipment was manufactured and tested at Supergrips production facility in Colne. This included destructive load testing of the bend restrictor knuckles on the in-house test machine designed and developed in-house.

This opportunity gave us the demonstrate our internal design and manufacturing systems. Following a formal QHSE audit we worked closely with our clients project team to deliver the equipment within schedule. Each product was subjected to rigorous testing process that was witnessed by client representatives. We are particularly pleased that the Fast-Lok bend restrictor, which we spent considerable time and effort developing, is now proving to have the benefits we anticipated and importantly is proving popular in the industry due to the significant savings experienced on installation time together with commercial savings against the industry standard 6-bolt system.
