Supergrip have successfully supplied a bespoke pressure retaining pipeline repair clamp to a major oil company on a fast track delivery schedule.
The repair clamp was designed to be diver installed on a 14” NS subsea riser, bridging an ANSI-600 flanged joint. The clamp was fitted with a dual high integrity seal arrangement, pressure test verification capability and full subsea coating system complete with cathodic protection. A removable certified lifting frame was also supplied to assist the diver installation onto the vertical riser.

This particular repair clamp although of a bespoke nature in that it is bridging a vertical flanged connection was designed, manufactured and tested within a 12 week window and was succesfully installed subsea 15 weeks from contract award. It was delivered on time with a full set of approved documentation and within budget. Our engineers also provided offshore technical support throughout the installation process. A fantastic achievement by our team.
