Sheldon Jeffrey, Operations Manager at Supergrip, said, “This is our second delivery for pipe, in pipe waterstop seals, tailored towards HFW pipe. We believe that our engineers are the most experienced in the field of pipe-in-pipe waterstops. We have been responsible for the development of this product since its inception in the late 90’s. Supergrip have seen the product develop both in terms of material and pressure holding methodology. Originally, the product was designed for seamless pipes, however with clients considering reducing costs, they have moved to HFW pipe (high frequency induction welded) options. This was a challenge as the pipe-in-pipe waterstop is a passive design requiring no activation. Following a period of development we are delighted with the upgraded system which addresses our clients challenges. The feedback is excellent with a few key areas including installation and operational advantages.”
